Accor Acquisition of Mantra Group Limited $1.2B
Dransfield acted as the lead external consultant to Accor on their $1.2B portfolio acquisition of over 130 properties (20,000 rooms) across Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii. The assets were operated under a mix of model types - Management & Letting Rights, Leases, Management Agreements and Marketing Services Agreements.


W Hotel and Residences (Ribbon)
Dransfield were appointed by the developer, for several related roles culminating as the exclusive lead agent for this complex $700m project integrating a high-end hotel, serviced apartments, retail and a large format theatre. Dransfield's multifaceted role included significant preparation of the asset before taking to market.


NRMA Acquisition TAS Assets
Dransfield advised NRMA on the acquisition of 4 Tasmanian leisure assets. Our role included: Commercial due diligence , creation of an investment/reposition strategy, detailed financial modelling and forecasting. Following the successful acquisition of the portfolio we were retained to assist with the execution of the repositioning strategy.


Hamilton Island
Hamilton Island is a large-scale resort with 600+ rooms ranging from economy to luxury, across 5 accommodation types, with over 16 F&B outlets and an airport. Total asset value of over $500m. We were engaged to undertake a strategic review of operations to provide growth strategy advice, which re-development and acquisition targets.


Due Diligence for a Private Equity Fund, $350m acquisition
Dransfield advised a fund on a potential acquisition of a leading management company. Our role included: assessment of value, due diligence, independent forecasting and identification of strategies to improve enterprise value.


EcoPoint Group, 5 retreat/resort assets
Dransfield established, developed, managed and sold the five group in the period 2004-2006. Dransfield took a principal position as part owner in the development of eco resorts with a value exceeding $80m.
